s -l your\path is used to figure out the writes and who owns it.

delete hosts

rm -f ~/.ssh/known_hosts

Raspberry Steps ... Cause I keep forgetting and wasting time a few times a year.

1.)  install Raspberry pi to SD from mac... using this line..  download image etc.

sudo dd bs=1m if=/Users/Pookeye/Downloads/NAME_OF_IMAGE of=/dev/rdiskN

2.) go to pi@192.168.1.XXX and log in after putting SD card in.

3.)  sudo apt-get install exfat-utils -y

4.) put USB in the raspberry pi

4a) sudo mkdir -p /media/usbstorage/

4b) sudo chown -R pi:pi /media/usbstorage

4c) sudo mount -o uid=pi,gid=pi /dev/sda1 /media/usbstorage

5.) sudo blkid #to get the UID

6.) sudo nano /etc/fstab  #use the UID that u got from above

7.) UUID=XXXX-XXXX /mnt/usbstorage exfat nofail,uid=pi,gid=pi 0 0

   #add this at the end of fstab  wth the UID that u got.

use below instead....  /media/usbstorage/ etc.

8.)sudo mount -a #make sure it works

9.) sudo apt-get install transmission-daemon  #install transmission now

10.) sudo nano /etc/transmission-daemon/settings.json

11.)

"incomplete-dir-enabled": true,
"download-dir": "/media/usbstorage/TorrentsCompleted",
"rpc-password": "Your_Password",

12. sudo service transmission-daemon stop

13. sudo nano /etc/init.d/transmission-daemon

14. #comment USER and make USER=pi

15. follow

Well,   back on this blog again,  not sure what to write about, but have been busy lately with work,   failed another job interview..  i dont understand how in the world do people expect me to remember all these math stuff when I havent looked at it for years...  anyways...  doesnt matter, it just tells me that i really need to keep studying for life..   sigh...

many things have changed since I used this..

have moved out of chi back to Cle, and back to Chi, working at the same place in chi, currently trying to buy a place... playing music again, dating someone else now... and seem much happier, much less stress, much more looking forward to what life brings.. and speaking spanish...

cant complain... still have a lot of new music coming in, and hoping to start learning to play the guitar better with the help of some friends.
